Kyndeler (ABN 61 894 663 508) (which operates kyndeler.com.au) (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, hold, use, and disclose your personal information, and how we comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (the “APPs”) in Schedule 1 to that Act. It is published under APP 1, which requires us to have a clearly expressed and up-to-date privacy policy.
1. ABOUT THIS POLICY
1.1 Who this policy applies to: This policy applies to all personal information we collect and handle in connection with our business, whether you are a customer of our online store, account holder, supplier, website visitor, supporter, or other individual we deal with.
1.2 Our status: We are a small business with an annual turnover of $3 million or less. Although some small businesses are exempt from the Privacy Act, we choose to handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles as a matter of good practice and to maintain your trust. Certain activities (such as providing a health service or trading in personal information) bring a small business within the Act regardless of turnover.
1.3 What is personal information: “Personal information” means information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether or not the information is true and whether or not it is recorded in a material form.
2. ANONYMITY AND PSEUDONYMITY (APP 2)
Where practical, you have the option of interacting with us anonymously or using a pseudonym—for example, when browsing our website, leaving public recommendations, or submitting general feedback. However, we require your identity where it is impracticable to deal with you without it (e.g., when placing an order in our online store, processing payment transactions, creating a registered account, delivering digital downloads, or fulfilling physical shipments).
3. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Note: We do not store complete credit card numbers or CVV codes on our servers.
- User Content & Recommendations: Reviews, comments, support messages, or recommendations you choose to share (whether attributed or submitted anonymously).
- Online and Device Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookies, site usage analytics, and advertising interaction data.
- Consultation Requests & Educational Details: Information voluntarily submitted when requesting or participating in a homeschooling consultation (such as preferred meeting times, learning stages, curriculum topics, student/class progress/needs or general educational queries).
- 3.1 Local Storage and Interactive Activities (Non-Collected Data)
- To enhance your experience, some of our interactive learning resources , like games, use your web browser’s local storage feature (such as
localStorage) to save your progress, game scores, and attempt history on your device. - Important details regarding locally stored data:
- Device-Only Storage: This data is stored strictly on your local device and browser. It is not transmitted to, collected by, or stored on our servers.
- No Personal Identification: Game scores, bonus values, time taken, similar details and local attempt histories are stored without being linked to your personal account or identity.
- User Control and Deletion: Because this data resides entirely on your device, you retain full control over it. You can clear or delete your score history at any time by clearing your browser’s cache and site data.
4. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION
We collect personal information:
- Directly from you: When you place an order, create an account, contact us, make a purchase or donation via Buy Me a Coffee, submit a recommendation or review, or interact with us or our site.
- Automated Technologies: Via cookies utilized by WooCommerce (to maintain shopping carts and user sessions), web beacons, and analytics tools when you navigate our site or view advertisements.
- Third Parties: From integrated third-party platforms you authorize or use to interact with us, including Stripe and Buy Me a Coffee, and Xero or MYOB (for invoicing and financial record-keeping)
Unsolicited information (APP 4): If we receive personal information we did not solicit, we will deal with it in accordance with APP 4, including by destroying or de-identifying it where the Act permits or requires.
